Medicare does not cover the cost of private duty non-medical home care.  JFS at Home offers services at a competitive hourly rate.  Services may be covered by long-term care insurance policies, and we can assist with the claims process and ongoing long-term care billing. Clients are responsible for any balance not covered by their long-term care policy.

These include level 2 background screenings and credential verification. JFS at Home goes beyond those requirements by also conducting motor vehicle record screenings, verification of auto insurance, and drug screenings. Caregivers undergo a comprehensive interview process to evaluate their skills, experience, and compatibility with our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care.

Is private duty non-medical care covered by insurance or Medicare?
