JFS at Home is pleased to announce the appointment of Dina Andrade as Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing more than 27 years of healthcare experience and a deeply rooted commitment to improving the lives of older adults.
Dina began her career in the medical field in Boston and Rhode Island before relocating to Florida 15 years ago. During the past seven years, her work has focused closely on the senior community – an experience that has strengthened her passion for helping older adults live with dignity, compassion and the support they need to remain as independent and fulfilled as possible.
“Dina brings an impressive combination of healthcare experience, compassion and a genuine understanding of the needs of seniors and their families,” said Marissa Gordon, MPA, CEO/Administrator of JFS at Home. “Just as important, she believes in our mission and shares our belief that exceptional care begins with relationships. We are delighted to welcome her to lead our operations and look forward to the experience, energy and heart she will bring to our clients, families and team.”
Throughout her career, Dina has developed a passion for education, training and mentorship. That commitment has taken her beyond the United States, including opportunities to train and support individuals in Ecuador and Colombia. Those experiences reinforced her belief in the importance of sharing knowledge, learning from others and helping professionals become stronger caregivers and colleagues.
For Dina, however, healthcare has always been about more than professional expertise. It is about making meaningful connections and having a positive impact on the lives of others.
“I have always believed that caring for others is both a responsibility and a privilege,” said Dina. “Working with seniors has become especially meaningful to me because everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect. I’m excited to join the JFS at Home team and bring my experience and energy to an organization whose values so closely reflect my own.
