Rafie has been a vital part of JFS at Home since 2016, serving with compassion and expertise in her role as a Registered Nurse. With over 36 years of experience in the nursing field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to patient care.
Her career began on a med-surg floor and a respiratory unit, where she worked with ventilators and tracheostomies. Over time, Rafie discovered her passion for working with the elderly, which led her to specialize in Geriatric and Long-Term Rehabilitation Care. Her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors continues to be a driving force in her work.
Rafie found her true calling in rehabilitation and home care, where she thrives on the unique challenges and personal connections the field offers. She values the opportunity to spend quality time with each client and their family members, ensuring that every assessment and update is handled with care, empathy, and attention to detail. Her dedication shines through in the way she builds trust and fosters meaningful relationships, helping clients navigate some of life’s most difficult moments with dignity and support.
“No two patients are alike, and no two days are the same,” Rafie says, embracing the dynamic nature of her work. She finds immense fulfillment in helping individuals overcome medical, physical, and emotional challenges to regain their independence and quality of life.
Rafie earned her Nursing degree from Farmingdale and Adelphi Universities in New York. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, soaking up the sun, traveling, and spending cherished time with her spouse and their beloved dog. She remains committed to lifelong learning and is actively pursuing further education to enhance her skills and continue growing as a healthcare professional.
